About the Hogans - The Rise of Father Son Drywall

Father Son Drywall About UsThey say that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, and that is absolutely the case here at Father Son Drywall. Starting back in 1970 with Grandpa Paul Hogan when he decided to make a lifestyle change and establish his handyman skills to start a new business, specializing in drywall. Paul knew the importance of finding a niche skill and spending the time to hone and perfect a craft, and that is just what he did.

Before too long, Paul decided to teach his son Ron the tricks of the trade, and starting taking him to projects when Ron was just 12-years-old. Paul worked hard to learn the craft of drywall and at one point when he was just a teenager, Paul had to leave the work-site for a short while to run an errand. When Paul returned, Ron had finished a skimming and texturing job all by himself. It was at this point that Ron knew that he would follow in his father’s footsteps.

By the age of 34, Ron had broken off from his father’s company and started his own drywall repair business - and that is how Father Son Drywall got its start. Just like Paul did with Ron, Ron took his own sons, Ron Jr. and James to job sites. By the age of 18, James was managing his own site projects. And now, while Ron Jr. manages the sales and estimating side of the business, James and Ron continue to manage the actual drywall work.

At Father Son Drywall, this family-owned business prides itself on professionalism, great work, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Now, one of the best drywall companies in Maricopa County, Father Son Drywall does what it takes to make every client happy.

The team has grown in recent years to extend beyond the Hogans, though ownership and all project work continues to be managed and overseen by Ron and James.
